Five Minute Spotlight: Bob Dubois, Bob the Roofer
Bob Dubois is a Colorado native and proud Wheat Ridge High School alum who has called Applewood home for years. With 34 years of business ownership under his belt, he kicked off 2026 with his latest venture, BD Roofing and Gutters, and you just might know him around town as Bob the Roofer. When he's not on a roof, he's soaking up life as a happily married dad of three grown sons and the very proud grandfather of six!

Van Wedgwood is a retired real estate professional with a 50‑year career. With nearly four decades of leadership in the ABA, some refer to him as the “User Manual for the ABA.”

Van currently serves as a volunteer Board Member, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Prospect Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting the projects and initiatives of the Prospect Recreation and Parks District. The Foundation is presently working to develop a Tribute Garden at Applewood Golf Course. This Tribute Plaza and Gardens will offer community groups the opportunity to create dedicated spaces honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to their organizations over the years. Opportunities for individual and family tributes will also be available.

 A Colorado native, Van was born and raised in the western suburbs of Denver. He lives in Applewood with his wife, Lo, and enjoys spending time with their five children and four grandchildren.

 At our luncheon, Van will share more about the Tribute Garden project and how local groups can participate in honoring their leaders—past, present, and future.
